Community Classes at Clark Lake

Please check back for a complete schedule and list of events at the studio.  My goal is to provide a collective gathering place for locals and friends to create, volunteer and/or help make a difference in the Clark Lake community. Together, we can celebrate in a space that gives joy and gives back.

Join us for fun classes and get involed.  Please email us at [email protected] or call to schedule at 419.351.6018

Guest Artist and instructor

Ffion Collinsworth

Artist Statement: Light streams through the open windows of a cottage kitchen: a wooden table worn from countless family meals stands proud, and a row of cupboards lining the walls is filled with handmade ware. Every ceramic piece holds evidence of the maker’s touch. When my work leaves the studio, this is where I envision it living – if it were to travel far outside these bounds, it would still carry the ambiance of cottage ware. The idea of a cottage is a dream. I romanticize the idea of living in this space, with a family and a life integrated with the world beyond the kitchen window. While the work I make is a reflection of the relationship between my observed environment and domestic life, it is also a representation of where I see myself in my future.
